Bach goes R'n'B
Bach goes R'n'B
«Bach goes R'n'B» is a project which has forged and reshaped(fused) a selection of Johann Sebastian Bach compositions into modern R'n'B tracks and songs with elements of jazz.
Bach compositions are so well suited to a fusion with contemporary, popular music, particularly R'n'B interpretations, because these significant pieces of musicology distinguish themselves with such an enormous impressionability and intense «Groove» otherwise rarely found in classical compositions. Staccato strings in the styles of Bach and baroque music have already supported the successful launching of dozens of pop and R'n'B songs into commercial achievements. An outstanding example of this sort of successful integration is the song «Survivor» from Destiny's Child. The Bach and Baroque-like musical intros were certainly a key factor in propelling the song to the top of the international music charts. The song «Déjeuner en Paix» by Stephan Eicher is a prime Helvetic example. Auenland Records will release a complete album of Bach compositions flavored with the essence of R'n'B and Jazz influences. Additionally, the album will present two new compositions, created in honor of this 18th century pop musician. Urs Wiesendanger and the Köniz (Jok) Youth Orchestra will launch this new project/CD «Bach goes R 'n' B» with the piece «Badinerie» at the «Sportler des Jahres-Gala» (the Annual Athletic Awards Ceremonial Gala) on the 17th of December in Berne Switzerland. With more than a million television viewers, this show is one of the most important galas broadcasted on Swiss television.. «BACH GOES R'N'B» is also immediately available for BOOKING as a LIVE ENTERTAINMENT SHOW featuring renowned singers and performers: Please send your requests to: mb@auenland-records.com |
